Results from Autocross Event No. 1 are now posted!
Registration for Autocross Event No. 2 is now open!
From Beth Cox, R.E.
All I can say is THANKS to everyone who helped with the Sept. 17 autocross event. The weather was perfect, we had a boatload of novices, got a few new members, had a great turnout and a great track layout, and as far as I know most folks had a bang-up time. Next event is Oct. 29 and we’ll get reg info up on motorsportsreg dot com soon.
This event was the first of the fall season, and yes, we are keeping score as there will be an awards party/dinner at the end of the season. Special thanks to Ray Soldano for posting the wonderful pictures. Any suggestions for making things run more smoothly are welcome, as always.

In case you missed the news on FaceBook:
Yes: We have an autocross schedule for the fall!
Many thanks to CRSCCA board member Gerald Street and to Brent Cooper, assistant principal at Dade High School.
First event is a Test and Tune, now scheduled for Sunday Aug. 27 at the lot at the high school where we have run before.
Then we have standard autocross events there on Sept. 17, Oct. 29, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3. Hoping to have an awards gathering/Xmas party later in December, maybe on Dec. 9 or 10.
We now have two licensed Safety Stewards, so that should not be a problem this fall.
Also, we are planning a Tire Rack Street Survival School at Dade HS on Saturday Nov. 18 and we’ll need lots of volunteer instructors.
Join us Thursday and let’s get this thing moving!
MANY, many thanks to David Steger, chief Solo Safety Steward for the SE division, who drove up from Atlanta on Saturday, March 25th to walk a number of us through the initial classroom session on the road to becoming a licensed SCCA solo safety steward. Attendees included Alex Uchida, Tim Cash, Byron Spencer and Geraldine Powell and Beth Cox. Hoping one or two of us can get our “shadow” events in so that maybe we can have an autocross in April, or maybe early May.
