I do not beleive there was any rental fee, maybe a donation to their Ministry. Had to show a minimum 1 million insurance. As for being a Church this is over flow area for parking used during conventions.

Also, do you know what the rental price was to your motorcycle club?

It's not a full answer, but the website only mentions services & prayer on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Don't get to excited because yes, it is a church. Also the largest Baptist church in Cleveland is across the street from it. Sunday's will be a no go on that lot. Omega doesn't meet every Sunday, they meet on Tuesday night from what I understand. However, they do have multi day long meetings that last into the weekends. Saturday could be a possibility for this lot. It's down the street from my house. I can go check it out tomorrow.

Shaggybob: if you need any assistance measuring just post when ,I know where and live about 3 miles away. First Baptist is actually about a mile away on Stuart Rd. and they control traffic pretty well with plenty of a Deputies directing traffic. They always have a thru lane in either direction open.

I just checked it out and it looks extremely promising, depending on how much of the adjacent lot we would be able to use this looks (to my untrained eye) equal to the jetport in usable area and the surface looks excellent . I took some pictures but I don't have a photo bucket account to post them here.

Ok so I come up with about 125,000 square feet that could be used for course. While this sounds small, the lay out provides ample room for paddock and grid without using any of the course surface.

For comparison's sake, we only had about 150,000 square feet that we used for course at the Jet Port, 97,000 for course at Walker Valley, and 148,000 at Eastgate.

I'm all about further investigation of this one!

Measured on google after seeing the layout. Too sick to walk it off right now but I'm confident with that number.

There are two "chutes" that are off of the main parking area that might be useful to us as well. One is wider and less obstructed (the one to the north) that leads into the open parking area is probably wide enough to do more than just a straight line and is probably usable area. The narrower one below it on the google earth is obstructed by a light pole but could be useful for a start or finish if we have access to it. These two auxillary areas also crest where they meet the main lot and the slight elevation change would be interesting and could make for some blind elements.

Below is a rough estimate of the area - I didn't do any measuring, but it helps put the other pictures into context.

I measured the other areas RJ had pointed out. These numbers are just approximate but that looks to total about 161,000 sq ft.

The "chutes" seem to be usable at 90-100 feet wide. Could make for some interesting elements while still leaving loads of room for grid and paddock.

Thanks RJ
